The brilliant performance of Oscar Wilde's play 'Lord Savile crimes' be seen again in the theater in the Palais in Berlin Mitte.
Here again our discussion of the premiere:
Oscar Wilde is now regarded as the greatest dandy of the 19th Century. The irony of his life was that he was the hypocritical morality of the Victorian England Levi Then the roaring read. Yet he was very successful. Just the upper class he held in his plays before the brutal mirror. She was thrilled: stormed into the ideas, applauded wildly, - went home to their mansion and lived on as before.

Wilde story Lord Arthur Savile's Crime. A Study in Duty (Lord Arthur's crimes. A study of the duty) was first published in 1887 in the journal The Court and Society Revicw. The Irish writer pokes fun at the snobbery of the English aristocracy of the fin de siècle, who could talk about murders in the same nonchalance as on fashion.

Theatre at the Palais Unter den Linden, now replaced by Hans Jaray brings to the stage. In the comedy version of the Austrian died in 1990 are the superstition and its possible consequences in Focus: During a social event can be read Lord Savile's hand. The Russian fortuneteller prophesied that he would commit a murder in 25 years. He also said exactly advance the Tattag. The nobleman, a harmless man of feeling, no one could actually do something inaugurates his wife. Both are now looking together for a possible victim ...

Directed by Herbert Olschok the piece to a wonderful, slightly sparkling comedy that remains exciting in every moment and is supported by her deep and sardonic humor. Olschok possible to a difficult simultaneity, which returns the piece back to his spiritual Timbre: The ironic Dandy himself had in his palace mischievous joy.

It is the lightness of a spring afternoon exhilarate that blows through the small and lovely theater in the Palais. The performance on Sunday afternoon makes the mood very possible. Outstanding not only Olschok directing performance. In the four actors who can play almost free. All excellent, the characters alive. The somewhat older audience was carried away several times to violent laughter. Peter Rauch as Lord Arthur is its incarnation. As is true every nuance, every look, even eyelashes. Carl Martin Spengler slips in four roles. And he embodies every single way that the audience asked each for a moment: Was it not just as well?

DANDY-CLUB-recommendation!
true joy of playing: Peter Rauch, Ursula Rosa Maria Gottert and Gabriele Hahn string
